Jordan Valley
The Jordan Valley is a renowned natural area in the Mackinaw State Forest, famous for the 18-mile Jordan River Pathway (part of the North Country Trail) that loops through pristine forests, alongside the blue-ribbon Jordan River, offering stunning overlooks and a walk-in campground. It's a prime spot for hiking, backpacking, trout fishing, and wildlife viewing.


Pinney Bridge State Forest Campground
A rustic, first-come, first-served campground located at the midpoint of the loop, ideal for overnight trips.

The Landslide Scenic Overlook
Offers amazing views of the Jordan Valley, accessed via a short detour off Alba Highway onto Harvey Road (seasonal, unpaved) north of M-66, then east onto a forest road for about 1.5 miles, leading to this popular spot on the North Country Trail for hiking, fall colors, and nature lovers.
